CLIMATE: In the centre of Argentina there are 4 seasons with hot summers being periodically refreshed by short, but intense rainfalls and thunderstorms. In the Sierras you´ll find pleasantly fresh nights being used by inhabitants and tourists for intense “night-life” consisting in fiestas with locally well-known artists, much street-theatre for free and the “asados” – grilled argentinian meat – and argentinian wines and beer of excellent quality at very reasonable prices. The winters are dry and mostly sunny with nice temperatures, cold nights sometimes freezing, being enjoyed with a cup of tea (local “Mate”) or a drink in front of the fireplace.

Yearly average of sunny das are approximately 320 per year! The local micro-climate was used as a healing climate for lung-diseases, this actually was the origin of tourism in the Sierras nearly a century ago. This special climate is responsible for the local flora with autoctonous hardwood and Caranday palm-trees, a specially pintoresque mixture which is very characteristic for this property
